During the 2022 Federal Election, Dr Reid and his team door-knocked and phone called thousands of Central Coast residents to understand the issues that were important to the community.

A matter that was constantly raised was the condition of local roads across the Central Coast.

From the thousands of conversations Dr Reid and his team had, Dr Reid took this information to Anthony Albanese, and was able to secure a commitment of $40 million for a targeted Central Coast local roads package.

The Albanese Labor Government and Central Coast Council are now working together to repair and resurface local roads across the region.

Dr Reid will continue to advocate and be a strong voice in the Albanese Government to ensure the Central Coast continues to get the funding it needs to build a better future.
