The Federal Labor Government has marked two years in office this month after its election in May 2022.

Election commitments made during the 2022 Federal Election have been delivered or are in progress.

These commitments include:

  • Upgrades to sporting facilities across the electorate of Robertson.

Quotes attributable to Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP:

“I am proud to be a part of a Federal Labor Government that is keeping to its word and delivering on its promises.

“It is pleasing to see works being undertaken by Central Coast Council to renew a number of local Central Coast roads because of Federal Government funding secured by my advocacy.

“The major upgrade of Avoca Drive through Kincumber is also powering forward with Transport for NSW recently undertaking surveying works to identify where utilities and other critical infrastructure are located under the road.

“Central Coast Council is also progressing plans to renew the Frost Reserve sporting facility, as well as refurbishing the sporting facilities in Kariong to ensure they are accessible for female players.

“The Community Battery in Narara is delivered and helping households store renewable energy, reducing power bills.

“There is more work to do, and I am focused on continuing to deliver for our Central Coast region”, Dr Reid said.
