Beach Street in Umina Beach has recently received an upgrade to its road pavement, including minor widening of the roadway, and the provision of a Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant bus stop, because of funding provided to Central Coast Council from the Federal Labor Government.

The project was funded by the Australian Government’s $40 Million Central Coast Local Roads Package secured by Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP.

Quotes attributable to Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP:

“The Federal Labor Government is investing in vital road infrastructure on the Central Coast.

“Through our government’s $40 Million Central Coast Local Roads Package, 46 local roads in the region are receiving much-needed upgrades.

“I am pleased that Beach Street in Umina Beach, which is one of the roads to receive funding, has now been upgraded.

“These upgrades have included new road pavement, road widening, and work to ensure the bus stop is accessible.

“I look forward to our roads package continuing to address and improve road infrastructure across the Central Coast”, Dr Reid said.
