During the last three years, Dr Gordon Reid MP and the Federal Labor Government have delivered on its local commitments to the people of the Central Coast.

These commitments include:

  • A Medicare Urgent Care Clinic for Umina Beach, servicing the surrounding communities.
  • $100 million to upgrade Avoca Drive through Kincumber, with the construction tender being announced soon.
  • $40 million for the Central Coast Roads Package.
  • A community battery in Narara, to help store solar electricity and bring down energy bills.
  • Secured millions for local sports facility upgrades in Kincumber and Kariong with work to commence soon.
  • Secured over a million dollars for general practices on the Central Coast.
  • Changed the Distribution Priority Area (DPA) on the Central Coast to allow general practices to draw upon a greater pool of available doctors, helping address GP shortages.
  • Provided thousands of dollars of grant funding to local not-for-profit community organisations.
  • Facilitated cost of living forums, scams forums, seniors’ forums, women’s and men’s health forums, and community forums across the electorate of Robertson.

As the next Federal Election approaches, Dr Gordon Reid MP, and Labor will deliver, if elected:

  • A new Medicare Urgent Care Clinic in the Terrigal district to service surrounding communities.
  • $10 million to improve maternity services at our public hospitals (Gosford & Wyong).
  • $115 million to upgrade Terrigal Drive in Erina and Terrigal.
  • $15 million to fix intersections in Empire Bay.
  • Delivering the $93 million Central Coast Roads Package.
  • $1.8 million to upgrade Ettalong Beach Foreshore.
