The Albanese Labor Government is encouraging individuals, businesses, and community groups to provide feedback on their priorities for the 2023-24 Federal Budget.
Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP said that individuals, businesses, and community organisations on the Central Coast should have their say on what they would like to see included in the 2023-24 Federal Budget for our region.
“The Central Coast is a fast-growing region, and we face many opportunities and challenges in the years ahead. The pre-budget submission period is now open, and I am encouraging the Central Coast community to provide feedback on how we can make the most of our opportunities and respond to our challenges in the next federal budget”. Dr Reid said.
“The more submissions the Federal Government receives, the better its ability to respond to the needs of the region”. Dr Reid said.
“I am proud that in the 2022-23 Federal Budget, the Central Coast received a record amount of investment by the Albanese Labor Government. This included a $40 million Central Coast local roads package, $30 million to begin planning work to upgrade Avoca Drive in Kincumber, funding for sporting facility upgrades, and better healthcare access on the Coast”. Dr Reid said.
The pre-budget submission period opened on December 5 and will close January 27, 2023.
