Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP has received his fourth dose of the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine at Amcal Pharmacy, West Gosford, after turning thirty years old.
Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP says the process was easy and he was in and out in no time at all.
“It is important Australians stay up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations, COVID-19 is still circulating in the community and is a risk to people’s health. As I have recently become eligible for my fourth dose, I booked myself into the nearest pharmacy at West Gosford, to receive my fourth vaccination”. Dr Reid said.
“I was looked after by the exceptional team at Amcal Pharmacy, West Gosford, and by pharmacist, Trent, who administered my fourth dose. I encourage all eligible residents on the Central Coast to stay up to date with their vaccinations”. Dr Reid said.
“I thank all our hardworking frontline healthcare workers who have been caring for COVID-19 patients and for their work during the past few years battling the pandemic. These past few years have been challenging and I know the community are so appreciative of your efforts”. Said Dr Reid.
ATAGI recommends Australians aged fifty years and older to get their fourth or latest dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. People in aged care, disability care facilities, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, with existing medical conditions, or immunocompromised, are at a higher risk from the disease and should get their fourth or latest dose as soon as possible.
