Eight Local and Para Sporting Champions have been celebrated at a special afternoon tea organised by Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP.

Each champion was the recipient of funding support by the Federal Labor Government to help cover the costs to compete at their state, national or international championships.

Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP, says it was a pleasure inviting our region’s up and coming sporting stars for an afternoon tea.

“The Central Coast region has outstanding sporting talent, and it was a real delight having eight sporting champions attend an afternoon tea where we discussed their sporting successes and plans for the future”, Dr Reid said.

“I look forward to continuing to support our rising sports stars and wish them all the best in their chosen career paths”.
