Eight Local Sporting Champions have been recognised for their sporting achievements during a special afternoon tea hosted by the Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP.
The afternoon tea took place on Wednesday April 29 and acknowledged local sportspeople who have received Federal Government support through the Local Sporting Champions Program.

- Mikayla Roberts – Australian Youth Championships (Water Polo).
- Sophie Walbancke – 2025/26 Girls National Championships (Softball).
- Ruby Jean Saffy – WPA Australian Youth Water Polo Championships.
