The Avoca Drive Upgrade through Kincumber has marked another milestone with engineering surveys of the drainage systems and underground services planned for Monday January 22 for up to six weeks.

These planning works are part of the Federal Labor Government’s $100 million upgrade of Avoca Drive through Kincumber.

Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP, says Avoca Drive is an important transport connection for a significant number of Central Coast motorists.

“Avoca Drive through Kincumber is used by a significant number of motorists every day and the Federal Labor Government is getting on with upgrading this important road.

“At the end of 2023, Transport for NSW completed traffic survey investigations which will be used to assist with planning for the $100 million upgrade of Avoca Drive.

“I am pleased that planning works are continuing to progress in 2024, and I will update the community as new information becomes available.

“During this period, disruptions to regular travel can be expected and I ask for the community’s patience while Transport for NSW workers undertake surveys.
