The Central Coast community is being encouraged to provide feedback to Central Coast Council about the design for a new district playground at Illoura Reserve in Davistown.
Central Coast Council plans to remove the current playspace at the reserve and is currently in the early planning stages.
The current playspace is no longer serviceable and works will include construction of a new inclusive district level playground at the end of Pine Road, Davistown.
Quotes attributable to Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP:
“Recreation areas like playspaces are focal points for our community to come together and live healthy lifestyles.
“I encourage the community living in the surrounding areas in Davistown, Saratoga, and Yattalunga, and across the region to complete the online survey and provide feedback on the project.
“This is an excellent opportunity to shape the future playspace to ensure it reflects the community and its needs.
“I thank Central Coast Council for its work on delivering this new district playspace and look forward to the completed project”, Dr Reid said.
The Illoura Reserve District Playspace is located on Pine Road, Davistown.
